E3 2017: Xbox One X Unveiling, Release Date and Price

Xbox One X was of course unveiled during the Xbox E3 briefing yesterday, along side a record breaking showcase of 42 games, 22 of which are console exclusive. Xbox One X, formerly known as Project Scorpio, will be released on 7th November priced at £449/$499/€499/CA$599/AU$649.

It was also announced that Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, Resident Evil 7, Final Fantasy 15, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Rocket League will be among the titles receiving updates to enable them to run better on Xbox One X including some being able to run in true 4K.

Phil Spencer also announced that backwards compatibility is also being extended to include original Xbox games starting with the hugely popular title Crimson Skies.
