Claire’s Sanctuary, the latest DLC for Jurassic World Evolution provides a separate campaign for plyers to get their teeth into. Set on the now ruined Isla Nubar, along with missions set by Claire Dearing, it’s a race against time to find a cure for the sick dinos, and create them a new home in sanctuary all with the threat of Mt. Sibo erupting.
It’s challenging, and keeps you on your toes as you play, with time being of the essence, I actually failed on one of the missions as I tried to keep 3 new dinos under control, taking too long one of them died from the disease. Once I got back on track, I igured out where I was going wrong and got through the mission.
Once you do find a cure it’s not the end of the game. You’re then tasked with going around the island and curing the rest of the infected dinos. Once that is done, with the immenent eruption of the volcano, you have to tranq and rescue 8 dinosaurs. you have to choose wisely though as you’ll be taking these to the new island of Sanctuary. and you don’t want to be stuck with one that will be on the rampage because you didn’t bring any other of the same species to keep company.
When you do get to sanctuary, you have to set up a new park, taking on missions that introduce new species of dinosaurs that are included with Claire’s Sanctuary as well as researching new buildings, such as the green house facility that lets you research and develop new plant species to place in enclosures.
All while the Hammond foundation takes a cut from your park that rises as you gain popularity, though you do have to be careful as if numbers drop, the level of cash taken stays the same. It provides a challenging experience, one that players who have done everything in game until now will relish.
