  • The point and click feature works well with xbox as it requires you to concentrate on every detail in which you hardly get with most other console games as you are hand held, Nightmare from the deep 2’s features which helps you along is the hint feature this can be turned off by playing the harder difficulty of the game, and a skip of a puzzle if you cannot figure it out using both of these will stop you getting certain achievements though.

The graphics of Nightmares from the deep 2 are mainly hand drawn, but the CGI used for the animation of characters does not feel out of place with the style of drawing and this is also quite a new thing which i haven’t seen used often, You also cannot expect the best quality of animations from a point and click game like this but its still done to a good standard. Nightmares from the deep 2 is very detailed too even within the background of the game the artists have done a amazing job keeping Nightmares from the deep 2 looking like its all apart of the same game.

Nightmares from the deep 2 is quite challenging i played the game without hints and got through quite a bit of the game, it has many hidden items connected to the story and has also got collectables within the game too. There are also achievements that are obtainable by collecting all of these and also completing the game without using a single hint or skip of a puzzle. This is good for those who like a challenge and those who like to cruise through the game and want a good story.

The story of nightmares from the deep 2 is well interconnected with the first game as the main protagonist has past relics which start the quest you embark on in nightmares from the deep 2, This gives you a good insight to what the previous game was about and also Nightmares from the deep 2 has story based items you can find that tell you about the history of where you are and certain characters will tell you the story of where you are if you get them certain objects.

The only small problem i have with Nightmares from the deep 2 is the odd camera zooms with obnoxious noises whenever something not even slightly shocking happens but its just the style of how this game was done, However the rest of the game to me was great. Nightmares from the deep 2 has some element of replay ability if you want to go back and get all the achievements and figure out all the small extra bits of hidden story.
